Sometimes you record an episode of a podcast and think to yourself, man I could really record another episode of that. So here we are, revisiting Ted Lasso. After having a Rebecca reaction to Ted Lasso, Kirstie rewatched the show and is back for another go at talking about what we love about it. Tl:DR we love it and we just want to spend more time talking about it so please come talk to us about Ted Lasso some more.

We've got soooooo much to unpack this week. Kelsey finally has her moment to deliver a friendship gift to Kirstie in the form of Ted Lasso and Kirstie........politely accepted. We spend some time trying to understand why a beautiful, self aware, well humored, kind show about friendship and the workplace wasn't somehow made specifically for Kirstie and the answer is.....fascism? This was our last episode recorded in Trump's America cut us some slack. Oh also Kirstie cries for the first time ever. on the podcast so get hype

Do note, there was an audio issue with Kelsey's track that we can't explain or fix but we thought this episode was magical enough to preserve it in its current form.

TV Friendships and TV Talk
July 25th, 2017 | 1 hr 12 mins
TV, anne, bobs burgers, brooklyn 99, friendship, game of thrones, hatewatch, hatewatch with us, leslie, parks and rec, podcast, television, television friendships, thought bubble audio, tv friendships
We are overcome with friendship this week as we FINALLY discuss a topic near and dear to our hearts: Television Friendships. We cover some greatest hits like Anne and Leslie and partners who are cops (cops who are partners?), Kelsey does a Teddy impression, we wax poetic about tv friendships as instructional texts, Kelsey gets a dig in at Kirstie's cat and Kirstie gets a final dig in at Downward Dog. All of this then got us thinking about what happens when people disagree about television. What do we do when people watch bad television, people are wrong about television, people don't like our input on television, television becomes a proxy for these, our modern times or people are too attached to Game of Thrones? Honestly, we aren't actually sure. Join us for a long and wandering journey through our feelings, insecurity, and soul searching in an attempt to avoid crushing the spirits of other TV watchers. There's no right or wrong way to tell this story, except this is maybe wrong.

What Fresh Hell Is This?
March 28th, 2017 | 54 mins 6 secs
TV, buzzfeed, game show, hatewatch, hatewatch with us, nbc, parks and rec, podcast, spring tv, television, thought bubble audio, trial and error
This week is all about Kelsey settling scores. First, she takes a bullet for us all while taking Buzzfeed to task over NBC's new show (and falsely advertised Parks and Rec placebo) Trial and Error. Then, she challenges Kirstie's assertions that she knows anything about network television with a new game segment, conveniently timed as a spring TV preview.
